The 115th citizens’ protest against the government ended this evening, with participants repeating the message that the rally would continue tomorrow as well: “More tomorrow.”

The rally began in Skanderbeg Square, where speeches were delivered containing strong accusations over the government’s affairs. The protesters then marched through the streets of Tirana before the protest ended in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The protest took place on the same day that SPAK imposed the security measure of “house arrest” on the now-former director of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni. The home of former Police Director Ilir Proda was also searched as part of the AKSHI affair.
The scandal has increased citizens’ anger toward the government, while the majority continues to face calls for resignation over major corruption affairs.
