The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced yesterday that restrictions will be imposed today on the movement of goods vehicles with a total weight exceeding 20 tonnes on motorways.
The measure will be in force from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., as forecast temperatures are expected to reach 32°C or higher.

According to the ministry, no restrictions will apply on national, regional and connecting roads, as the criteria set out in the decision have not been met.
In its announcement, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport called on citizens and business operators to take into account that, based on the official temperature forecast for tomorrow, the conditions have been met for implementing the decision on the temporary ban on motorway traffic for goods vehicles with a total weight exceeding 20 tonnes.
For motorways, the restriction is set to apply from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., as forecast temperatures are expected to reach 32°C or higher.
Meanwhile, national, regional and connecting roads will remain unrestricted, as the conditions established by the decision have not been met.
The ministry said it will monitor temperature trends daily and inform citizens and business operators in a timely manner of any changes related to the implementation of this decision.
