Tax Administration of Kosovo warns taxpayers about fraudulent SMS messages concerning tax refunds

The Tax Administration of Kosovo has announced that the SMS messages being distributed in its name, claiming to concern tax refunds, were not sent by the Tax Administration of Kosovo.

In a Facebook notice, the institution urged taxpayers to exercise caution and not fall victim to this false information.

The Tax Administration of Kosovo advises citizens not to open suspicious links or submit personal data or bank account information through these messages.

According to the notice, all official communication, information or announcements from the Tax Administration of Kosovo are made only through the institution’s official channels. Taxpayers were urged to verify all information through the Tax Administration of Kosovo’s official sources.
