Tetovo’s Sector for Internal Affairs has provided new information about the case reported a day earlier in several media outlets, in which a dentist was alleged to have sexually harassed a 23-year-old patient.

Police said the reported individual has been detained, while the relevant procedures against him will continue.
According to the official notice, on 19.09.2026, at 10:55 a.m., officers from the Tetovo Police Station deprived a 61-year-old man from Tetovo of his liberty. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense provided for under Article 190-a of the Criminal Code, “sexual harassment,” a case reported the previous day by a 23-year-old woman from Tetovo.
The man was held at the police station and, once the case documentation is completed, the relevant report against him will be prepared, the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs said.
