Six children from a kindergarten in the city of Korçë have been taken for medical assistance after they were suspected of suffering food poisoning.

The children are being treated in the Pediatrics Department at Korçë Hospital. According to preliminary information, their health condition is not considered serious.
Initial suspicions have focused on the food they consumed at the kindergarten, but the exact cause of the poisoning has not yet been determined.
Police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the case. As part of the process, the food consumed by the children will be examined, as well as the way and conditions in which it was prepared and served.
Meanwhile, health authorities are expected to carry out the relevant tests to identify the cause of the poisoning.
