Suspected Explosive Device Found in Abandoned Van in Vlora, Vehicle Towed to Police Station

A van that had been left for two days on “28 Nëntori” Street in Vlora alerted the authorities, as it is suspected that an explosive device may be inside.

After being notified of the presence of a suspicious object in the vehicle, police officers went to the scene and began conducting checks.

The van was towed away by police and will be transported to the police station, where it will undergo specialized inspections to determine whether it contains explosives or other hazardous materials.

The authorities had initially requested information about the vehicle’s owner, but so far, it has not been identified who it belongs to.

Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation to clarify the circumstances and the origin of the van.
