Speeches End at the Prime Minister’s Office, Huge Crowd of Citizens Fills the Streets of Tirana

After the end of the strong, symbolically charged speeches by activists and citizens in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, a mass movement toward the capital’s main thoroughfares has begun.

On the 40th day of the resistance, a large number of protesters have gathered and taken to the streets of Tirana, paralyzing traffic and chanting harsh slogans against Edi Rama’s government.

With banners in their hands, the flamingo symbol, and chants that have now become the refrain of this revolt, the citizens are moving forward with clear determination.

The protesters’ chants are echoing through several of the city’s most important areas, while the civic movement is clearly reaffirming that it has no intention of backing down, signaling the uninterrupted continuation of the resistance.
