Speeches conclude outside the Prime Minister’s Office, protesters march toward the Security Bloc: “Free the boys!”, stop also at the Supreme Court

Following speeches delivered by activists, civil society representatives and citizens, today’s protest continued with participants marching through the streets of Tirana.

The protesters, who are on the 106th day of their resistance, set off from “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard, moving in an organized manner with national flags and banners.

During the march, chants against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama could be heard, including “Rama, resign!” and “Your end has come!”

According to a statement by Edison Lika, the protest will first stop at the Supreme Court as well. Afterwards, the participants will continue toward the Security Bloc, where the protesters arrested during the rally are being held.

“Free the boys!” is another chant being repeated by the crowd during the march.

The protesters have declared that they will continue their civic action and marches in pursuit of their demands.
