Special meeting at Drenovë Prison: Laert Haxhiu and the Kosovar model living together! They signed a cohabitation agreement before a notary

The special meeting at Drenovë Prison in Korçë between life-sentenced inmate Laert Haxhiu and Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti attracted media attention last year. Following the meeting, criminal investigations were launched against the former director of Drenovë Prison, Fatjon Fasho, and the former head of police at the prison, Sokol Kaçoli, for “Abuse of Office”.

However, an investigation conducted by the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office has revealed that the inmate and the model have a cohabitation agreement with each other. According to journalist Elton Qyno, the agreement was signed on October 6, 2025, before public notary Bledar Zake in Korçë, three months after the initial meeting at Drenovë Prison.

The journalist reports that Haxhiu signed the agreement at Drenovë Prison, while Pajaziti signed it before the public notary. The Lushnjë Police Commissariat has also confirmed that Ziza Pajaziti and Laert Haxhiu lived together while the latter was wanted by the police.

It is learned that the lawyer submitted the agreement to the directorate of Drenovë Prison, after which the director of the correctional institution sent it to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office.

Meanwhile, journalist Qyno has made public details from the agreement, which states that Laert Haxhiu and Ziza Pajazti entered into the cohabitation contract to regulate the consequences arising from their cohabitation.

The document also emphasizes that assets acquired during the period of cohabitation are considered the personal property of each cohabitant, and the other party has no rights in relation to those assets.

It is recalled that Lert Haxhiu was found guilty in connection with the incident recorded in Lushnjë in 2017, in which Zamir Latifi and Jurgen Hoxha were killed, while Maius Xhepexhiu and Bujar Turku were injured. Orgest Bilbili and Anterio Kaloshi were also sentenced to life imprisonment for the same incident.

They face charges of the criminal offenses of “Murder under qualifying circumstances of one or more persons”, “Commission of criminal offenses as part of a criminal group”, “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, as well as “Disturbance of public peace”.
