National Bank Governor Trajko Sllaveski announced that, starting next week, the weekly limit for cash withdrawals and card payments at ALTA Banka will rise from 10,000 to 15,000 denars.
A special measure has also been introduced for wages, pensions and social benefits deposited by institutions or companies whose accounts are held at other banks.

According to Sllaveski, customers will be able to access these funds in full, with no limit on the amount.
They will not need to open an account at another bank, as they can use the funds with their existing card or withdraw them at a branch counter.
From Monday, November 9, new counters will also operate in Tetovo and Strumica. Customers without payment cards will be able to withdraw up to 20,000 denars without having to travel to Manastir. This service will also be available to residents of nearby settlements.
Meanwhile, for recipients in Prilep, Resnjë and Ohër, the National Bank has announced bus transport to the Manastir branch, where they can withdraw their pensions and social assistance. Sllaveski reiterated that the bank has sufficient liquidity and capital.
