Six Defendants Charged with Drug Trafficking and Illegal Firearm Possession in Prizren

The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has filed an indictment against six individuals: S.K., A.K., F.F., L.A., A.F., and D.G. They are charged with the criminal offense of unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution, and sale of narcotic and psychotropic substances. Against defendant A.K., the prosecution has also filed charges for illegal weapons possession.

According to case documents, defendant S.K. was caught on January 29, 2026, in Suharekë, while possessing marijuana-type narcotic substance for the purpose of sale. During the intervention, law enforcement seized 30 bags filled with that substance and other residues. Forensic analysis proved the material contained cannabis (THC) with a total net weight of approximately 26.60 grams.

Furthermore, the charge against A.K. describes that from September 2025 until January 29, 2026, he offered and distributed cocaine without authorization in Suharekë. During the searches conducted, approximately 465 grams of marijuana, about 3.3 grams of cocaine, a suspicious liquid, and tools such as digital scales and a grinder were found and confiscated. Also, 2,200 euros were seized. The expertise of the Kosovo Forensic Agency confirmed the samples contained cannabis and cocaine.

The same defendant, A.K., is accused of keeping a small arsenal in his bar in Suharekë without the corresponding permit. This concerns an M57 model pistol, a magazine, and four cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber, in violation of the Law on Weapons.

Defendant F.F. faces the prosecution’s allegations that during the same period, from September 2025 to January 29, 2026, he illegally distributed cocaine. As part of the investigation, authorities seized a digital scale and two vehicles, which were allegedly used for the criminal activity.

Meanwhile, defendants L.A., A.F., and D.G. are accused of joint perpetration in the distribution of cocaine. According to the indictment, they acted continuously from September to November 2025, offering and selling the narcotic substance in various locations in Suharekë and surrounding areas. In one specific case, a quantity of over 300 grams of cocaine was obtained, which was thrown from the vehicle during an attempt to flee the scene, but was later found and seized by the police.

The case prosecutor has requested the court to approve the confiscation of approximately 740 grams of seized narcotic substances, including over 400 grams of marijuana and over 330 grams of cocaine. The request also includes the confiscation of the M57 pistol, the magazine and four cartridges, as well as three cars believed to have been used for committing the criminal offenses. Also, the seizure of the amount of 2,200 euros and 500 Swiss francs has been requested, which are considered direct proceeds from the illegal activity.

In conclusion of the indictment, the prosecutor has proposed to the court that, after the judicial review is conducted and the evidence administered, all defendants be found guilty of the criminal offenses they are charged with and be punished in accordance with the law in force.
