Serious crime in Tirana: 68-year-old Hysni Patushi arrested after fatally stabbing his wife

This morning, a serious incident shocked Tirana, where 68-year-old Hysni Patushi stabbed his 58-year-old wife to death and fled.

Police said they arrested 68-year-old Hysni Patushi in the Kamza area.

“68-year-old arrested after killing his wife with a sharp object. Following the preliminary information provided earlier, we announce that H. P., 68, who is suspected of striking his wife, L. P., 58, with a sharp object, causing her death, has been located and arrested by police officers. The investigative team is continuing its work to fully document the circumstances of the case,” police said.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the couple’s home. At the time of the crime, two minors, the couple’s grandchildren, as well as their son-in-law, who lived in his father-in-law’s home, were also in the house.

The stabbing proved fatal for 58-year-old Lumturie Patushi, who died.

According to available information, the couple had experienced problems in the past. The two minors and the son-in-law have been questioned by the investigative team in an effort to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
