Serious accident in Durrës/ Car strikes and kills 32-year-old, police searching for driver

On the morning of August 21, 2026, an accident was recorded on the Shkozet-Shijak road, in the area known as Rrashbull. According to police information, at around 6:15 a.m., a vehicle struck a cyclist, citizen V. H., 32.

As a result of the collision, the 32-year-old died at the scene.

Following the accident, the vehicle driver fled the scene. Police have begun work to identify and apprehend the driver.
