Police, divers and mountain rescue teams have begun searching for a 32-year-old man from Skopje who was reported missing yesterday in the area of Lake Ohrid.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the missing man is B.S. His father, Z.S., said that his son had left the campsite where they were staying in Ohrid. Later, he found some of the 32-year-old’s clothes, his mobile phone and an inflatable boat on the beach.
The case was reported on 14 September 2026, at 6:10 p.m., at the Ohrid Police Station. Immediately after receiving the report, officers from the lake police and the Ohrid Police Station, together with members of the mountain rescue service and a team from the “Ohrid” diving club, joined the search.
The teams are searching both the lake waters and the surrounding land areas in an effort to find B.S. and clarify the circumstances of the incident, police said./Telegrafi/
