Salianji: The Democratic Party has lost the protest square, Berisha is too afraid of eggs to come out

Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji said that the opposition no longer controls the protest venue.

During an interview with Klan News, he said that Sali Berisha, like Edi Rama, avoids appearing in the square out of fear.

According to Salianji, the opposition leader is afraid that protesters might throw eggs at him.

“The Democratic Party has lost the protest square. The opposition leader can no longer appear in the square. Like Rama, he too is afraid of being pelted with eggs. It is a unique case in the world. What does he represent?” he said.

“Ask him what he intends to do to defeat Rama,” Salianji continued.

He argued that Berisha’s departure from the leadership of the opposition would lead to Edi Rama’s downfall within two months, while his continued leadership would serve as a guarantee for the prime minister’s continued rule.

“Sali Berisha is the obstacle preventing the opposition from coming to power, despite all these scandals. Rama has all his associates involved in corruption. Instead of appearing in the square, however large it may be, Sali Berisha does not inspire them. For the first time in 35 years, the Democratic Party has lost the square,” Salianji declared.
