Ervin Salianji has responded on Facebook, declaring that healthcare is not the property of Prime Minister Edi Rama, but a right belonging to citizens, who must be guaranteed access to services. According to him, the government is privatizing tenders and building a structure similar to “KAYO 2” in the healthcare sector, while turning public funds into a business to benefit a select group.

Salianji asks whether Roni is taking complete control of every penny allocated to healthcare. He claims that Rama is preparing to use legislation to place tenders across the entire healthcare sector in the hands of a single entity, while the state withdraws and control is handed to private companies created by a superstructure similar to KAYO.
According to Salianji, the Rama government is no longer working for citizens, but to enrich a small group of clients. He says that even healthcare funds are now being used as a business to benefit select members of the government’s clientele, directly affecting the most sensitive sector: people’s health and lives.
He states that, after failing to establish a respectable public healthcare system and after every concession granted in recent years ended up under investigation by SPAK for abuses involving millions of euros, Rama is now choosing to hand over healthcare piece by piece, directing public funds to those who serve his political interests, to “his Rons.”
Salianji emphasizes that Albanians pay taxes for functioning hospitals, medicines and high-quality services, not to finance schemes that, according to him, are intended to provide favors and generate wealth through corruption.
In conclusion, he stresses that healthcare belongs to the citizens and is not Edi Rama’s property. According to Salianji, every decision involving billions of lekë in taxpayers’ money must serve the interests of patients, not those in power, whom he accuses of seeking to enrich themselves at the expense of Albanians’ health.
