Rule of Law in Focus at First Meeting Between Chief Prosecutor Gashi and KIA Director Ajeti

The Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Petrit Ajeti, congratulated the new Chief State Prosecutor, Zejnulla Gashi, during their first official meeting, wishing him success in fulfilling his mandate.

Discussions between the two leaders focused on deepening inter-institutional cooperation, as a key pillar for strengthening the rule of law in the country.

They reaffirmed their joint commitment to advancing professional coordination, in full compliance with the powers granted by the legislation in force.

According to the official announcement from the State Prosecutor’s Office, the parties underlined the importance of close coordination to fulfill the legal obligations of both institutions.

This meeting took place as part of Chief Prosecutor Gashi’s initial engagements after his appointment, while the Prosecutor’s Office did not publish further details on the topics discussed during the talks.
