Richard Grenell, President Trump’s envoy for Special Missions, is spending several days on vacation in Albania at one of the country’s luxurious southern resorts.

During his visit to Marina Bay in Vlora, Grenell posted photos and videos he had taken himself on social media, expressing his appreciation for the destination and the welcome he received.

“Vlora, Albania, is magical,” he wrote, describing Marina Bay as “a gem.” According to Grenell, the resort combines luxury with affordability and offers opportunities both for peace and relaxation and for nightlife, as the complex also has a casino.

Grenell made it clear that his post was not sponsored. He also explained that he had taken the photos and videos himself during his stay, without a plan or a script.

In his message, he thanked Besmir and the resort team for their hospitality, implying that he would return in the future.

“I will miss you and your team. But I’m sure I’ll see you again soon,” he wrote.

Grenell’s visit comes at a time when southern Albania continues to be an attraction for tourists and well-known international figures. Vlora and the Albanian Riviera have become among the most sought-after destinations for summer vacations.
