Remi renews call for a governing coalition between VV and PDK

PDK MP Rrustem Mustafa-Remi has reiterated his position on forming a governing coalition between Vetëvendosje and the PDK.

According to him, the current situation calls for a broad political agreement that would bring unity, clarity and a stable state direction to Kosovo.

Remi said that VV, PDK and the other political entities should begin talks on a joint agreement based on the fundamental interests of the Republic of Kosovo.

“At this important moment, Kosovo needs a major political agreement that brings unity, clarity and state direction,” he wrote.

“Therefore, VV, PDK and the other parties can open dialogue on a joint agreement built on the fundamental interests of the Republic.”

According to his proposal, this commitment should rest on three main pillars.

Political unity and internal calm

Political forces and civil society should coordinate around the state interest, contributing to the creation of a climate of cooperation and responsibility.

Legal support

Defense teams should be strengthened and the necessary legal support should be secured for future proceedings, based on equal standards of justice.

Diplomatic engagement

Remi is calling for coordinated action on the international stage to present, through arguments, the history of Kosovo and the KLA, and to advance the interests of the Republic.

He stressed that a shared priority should be strengthening the strategic partnership with the United States of America and the West.

The PDK MP described this initiative not simply as a temporary union, but as an opportunity to build a political agreement with responsibility, objectives and a defined direction for Kosovo.
