Rama responds to the protesters’ 5 demands and attacks Dritan Goxhaj: A half-Taliban, half-mythomaniac manipulator

Prime Minister Edi Rama made another reaction on social media this Tuesday, this time regarding the five main demands of the citizens who have been protesting for 22 days.

The demands were read out by former KLA fighter Dritan Goxhaj, who declared that he had been authorized by the protest’s coordinating group to speak on behalf of the organizers and protesters.

In his post, Rama calls Goxhaj a “half-Taliban, half-mythomaniac manipulator,” while stressing that he would not throw a single speck of mud on the KLA flag. He also published a document from 1999 in which, according to him, Goxhaj had declared: “My head hasn’t gone bad like my father’s, for me to fight in Kosovo.”

“Come on, don’t overdo it completely, what kind of useless commander is this”… According to Rama, these were the words of a man who had several family members killed, and who had sent him the attached document early this morning.

Rama went on to write: “Hey, brave men, not for a half-Taliban, half-mythomaniac manipulator, not even if they gave me the whole world, would I throw a speck of mud on the KLA flag.”
