During the NATO Summit in Tirana, airspace security will be guaranteed by intelligent drones manufactured in Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced.

The statement was made at a ceremony where 40 tactical vehicles, produced by Albanian company Timak in cooperation with state-owned company KAYO, were delivered.
Rama said the skies would be guarded during the summit by “Made in Albania” super-intelligent drones. The President of the United States will also attend the meeting and, as the prime minister put it, is protected “from the sky and the ground, from Mars and the Moon.”
He also announced that the government has placed an order for the most sophisticated air defense system, which is expected to be made available to Albania very soon.
