Lecturer Enkelejda Olldashi joined a march in support of the students today, speaking about the protest, young people and the lack of mutual communication with the government.
In a statement to the media, she said that lecturers should have stood alongside the students from the very first day.

According to Olldashi, their joining the protest serves to make it clear to young people that lecturers stand by them and support their demands and cause.
Olldashi described Prime Minister Edi Rama’s communication as a monologue, not a dialogue. She ironically remarked that Rama plays the role of a “one-man show” very well and that perhaps one day he could return to the Academy of Arts.
She also recalled that the current prime minister was once a protester himself and was beaten up. Olldashi stressed that she is not part of his “imperial court,” adding that the youth movement, beyond protest and revolt, should also serve to encourage awareness and reflection; for this, she said, Rama should be grateful.
Addressing journalists, the lecturer said that they have been the eyes of Albanians and raised the question of what is happening.
She reiterated that lecturers should have been in the square from the very first day and that the call to join the protest was intended to show students that they stand by them and support them.
