QMK: 31 fires in 24 hours, only three remain active

Twenty-four fires have been completely extinguished in the past few hours, the Crisis Management Center announced.

According to the report updated as of 7:30 a.m., a total of 31 fires in open areas have been recorded. Of these, three fires remain active, while four others are being kept under control by emergency response teams.

The active fires continue near the village of Belica in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, near the village of Brest in the municipality of Čučer Sandevo, and near the village of Aldinci, which lies within the territories of the municipalities of Krushevo and Krivogashtani.

Regarding the fires that have been brought under control, the authorities said they are located near the village of Tajmishte in the municipality of Kičevo, at the city landfill in Delchevo, near the village of Kopanica in the municipality of Saraj, and along the area connecting the villages of Burinec, Lokov, Selce, and Elevci, within the municipality of Struga.
