The situation in Tirana has been tense since the morning hours, during the second day of protests that began outside the Ministry of Education building. On Wednesday evening, police officers took several protesters in different areas of the capital.

Some of the protesters returned to the area near the Prime Minister’s Office, where police took some of them in.
Three people were taken by police in the “21 December” area.
The situation there escalated because of the large number of protesters and the stones they threw. In response to the incidents, police intervened intensively to take those involved in.
Protesters were also taken in near Elbasan Street.
