Protester attacked by Braçe: I was called a junkie, received 500 threats, but the diaspora remains fearless

The citizen who was involved in a fierce confrontation with socialist MP Erion Braçe a day earlier addressed the crowd at the square today to expose the insults and threats he has suffered since that event, while conveying a firm stance from the diaspora.

He openly recounted before those present the dynamics of the clash and how he was labelled by the majority party lawmaker.

“Yesterday Erion Braçe attacked me. He called me a junkie. We are not scared, we are not afraid. The diaspora is not afraid! We are not scared of your threats!” he declared with full determination.

He then revealed that since the incident he has been targeted by a fury of threats, stressing that this is the pattern followed against anyone who dares to speak out without hiding.

“500 messages threatened me, but no problem! Every person who tells the truth is attacked. They call the diaspora worthless when it is not on their side,” the protester said before the gathered crowd.
