Property conflict in Pukë, 3 arrested and 2 under investigation

A conflict that occurred one day earlier in the village of Dedaj in Pukë has resulted in the arrest of three people and the initiation of criminal proceedings against two others.

According to police, the cause of the clash was a property dispute.

From the Pukë Police Commissariat, Crime Investigation specialists arrested in flagrante delicto citizens I. Sh., 67 years old, F. Sh., 36 years old (the son of the 67-year-old), and G. I., 34 years old. Also, the materials were forwarded to the Prosecution to proceed at large against P. I., 60 years old, and his wife, F. I., 43 years old, who is the sister of G. I. All persons involved are residents of Dedaj village.

Preliminary investigations show that the conflict erupted on Wednesday evening, where the parties clashed using hard objects and cutting tools.

As a result, I. Sh. and G. I. suffered injuries and are being treated at Shkodër Regional Hospital, but fortunately they are out of life-threatening danger.

Officers have seized several items and tools that are suspected to have been used during the brawl, which will serve as material evidence. The investigative file has been referred to the Prosecution at the Shkodër First Instance Court for further procedural actions.
