PRO reminds: June 30, 2026 is the final deadline for tax payment

Citizens who, following the Annual Tax Return for 2025, are shown to owe an additional amount still have a little time left to meet their obligation. The Public Revenue Office announces that the final deadline for paying the tax is June 30, 2026.

According to the PRO, all taxpayers whose returns indicate an additional amount due must settle it within the deadline in order to avoid additional costs and the calculation of interest.

For citizens who have received or will receive a decision with the corrected tax amount, payment must be made within 15 days from the day the decision is received.

Payment can be made through the electronic tax services. Citizens should log into their profile, select the Annual Tax Return for 2025, open it through the “Pregled/View” option, and then download the payment order from “Peçati/Print”.

The PRO asks citizens to carefully fill in their details when making the payment, especially the tax identification number, the payment slip number, and all other mandatory elements of the order.
