Post equips new vehicles with cameras for full oversight of parcel delivery

The Board of Directors of the public enterprise “Post of Macedonia” has decided that the new vehicles will be equipped with cameras, with the aim of monitoring the entire parcel delivery process. According to the announcement, this measure is intended to overcome problems that have arisen during deliveries, although no details were provided about the nature of the anomalies.

During the handover of three vehicles in Veles, the Deputy Director General of “Post of Macedonia,” Nikollço Ugrinov, said that cameras would be installed in the cargo area of the vehicles as a new feature. He stressed that through them, the parcel would be tracked from the moment it is accepted at the post office, during transport, and until it is delivered to the service user, adding that this is expected to prevent some anomalies that occurred in the delivery process.

The vehicles newly added to the fleet are “Fiat Dablo,” model year 2026, and come equipped with the most modern technologies. They have air conditioning, navigation, sensors, rear-view cameras, and can carry loads of up to 750 kilograms.

The Veles post office provides service in three municipalities — Veles, Çashkë and Gradsko — covering a total of 70,000 residents through 11 postal branches.

Overall, the Post of the Republic of North Macedonia has received 100 new vehicles, an investment aimed at increasing efficiency in postal services. Of these, 90 are small commercial vehicles, widely known as pickup vans, while another 10 are large commercial vehicles, namely vans.
