PLD calls on the Public Prosecutor’s Office to immediately launch proceedings over the independence celebration

The public has been waiting for weeks for the Public Prosecutor’s Office to step onto the scene, begin its work, collect its salary from taxpayers and show its true face. However, according to a statement to the media by the Liberal Democratic Party (PLD), no action has yet been taken to open proceedings concerning the independence celebration.

The Liberal Democratic Party is expressing its willingness to help ensure that equal justice is finally established for all citizens of Macedonia.

“PLD calls on the Public Prosecutor’s Office to prove that it has qualified staff who are not subject to political pressure and to immediately open an investigation into how the money from the State Lottery was spent,” the PLD statement said.

The party added that now that the prosecutors have returned from their summer holidays, have had sufficient rest and have begun taking swift measures to protect “the head of the elite,” they can act just as quickly to find answers to the questions listed below./Telegrafi/
