Passage Through the Llogara Tunnel Remains Free, No Date Yet Set for Introducing the Toll

The Llogara Tunnel continues to be used free of charge during this tourist season, although it had previously been reported that a toll could be introduced as early as the beginning of June.

Checks carried out today at the crossing point found that vehicles are passing through without obstacles and without paying. Cameras installed at the toll gate record drivers, who then continue their journey freely.

Although the relevant staff are present at the toll point, the information obtained indicates that an official date for the start of toll collection from tunnel users has still not been set.

For citizens and holidaymakers, this is a favourable situation, as at least for the time being they can pass through the Llogara Tunnel free of charge during the summer season.
