Pantina Reveals Expectations for LDK’s Extraordinary Assembly

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has announced that its leader has decided to convene an Extraordinary Assembly after securing the supporting signatures of at least one-third of the Assembly delegates, as stipulated in the party statute.

The official announcement states that the decision was made in accordance with the LDK Statute and the party’s internal organizational procedures.

The extraordinary meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 30. The latest developments within the party are expected to be discussed, along with issues related to the organization and leadership of the LDK.

LDK member Shqipe Pantina said the purpose of convening the Assembly is to hold a vote of confidence in the current leader.

Speaking to “Bota sot,” Pantina said she expects the process to pave the way for new elections within the LDK. According to her, every interested candidate should have the opportunity to present their vision and strategy for returning the party to victory.

“The purpose for which the LDK Assembly has been convened is clear: a vote of confidence in the leader.

The expectation is that this will then pave the way for new elections within the LDK, giving every interested person the opportunity to run, present their vision for the party’s future, and outline the strategy through which it can return to victory,” Pantina stated.
