Online evaluation of consular services begins today, Hoxha: Citizens should tell us how to improve them

“Bringing the state closer to citizens” was the message with which the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, presented the new mechanism for citizens to evaluate consular services.

Starting today, citizens will find a QR code in every space where consular services are provided, near the counters where procedures are carried out and in waiting rooms, as well as at the Ministry, diplomatic missions and Albanian consulates. By scanning it, they can complete a form and submit their evaluation.

According to Hoxha, this enables citizens to share their impressions of the service, raise their concerns or observations, and suggest ways in which procedures could be carried out differently, better and more quickly.

“A simple scan will give citizens the opportunity to tell us about their experience with the service, identify what is not working and suggest where we need to intervene,” the minister said in a video message.

Hoxha described the QR code as a direct communication channel between citizens and the institution, which will help identify ways to improve the service.

“Tell us what is not working and advise us on what we can do better; we will work to improve it. Consular service is not merely an administrative procedure, but a meeting point between the state and citizens. In this relationship, the state must be fast, simple, accessible, professional and accountable,” Hoxha said.
