One of the people suspected of attacking Fahrush Rexhepi, a member of the Assembly of Kosovo, during the October 5 protest in Pristina, has been identified by the authorities.

According to sources, the suspect is Fadil Zogaj, who was identified after an examination of video footage obtained from open sources.
In the videos seized for the investigation, several people can be seen dragging MP Rexhepi along the ground and then throwing him over the fence into the Assembly courtyard.
Zogaj was found at around 7:30 p.m. in Mother Teresa Square in Pristina and was taken to the offices of the relevant investigative unit for questioning.
The questioning took place in the presence of his defense lawyer. By order of the State Prosecutor, he has been placed in detention for 48 hours.
The investigation is being conducted for the criminal offense of “Assault on an official,” while the authorities are continuing their efforts to identify the other people suspected of taking part in the incident.
