Ohrid, two people arrested after marijuana and cocaine are discovered

Ohrid’s Sector for Internal Affairs has filed criminal charges against H.B., 27, from the village of Kosel in Ohrid, and P.P., 28, from Prilep, who is temporarily staying in Ohrid. They are suspected of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” In addition, P.P. is also suspected of “enabling the use of narcotic drugs.”

During a search carried out on 10.09.2026 at the second suspect’s home, under a court order, police found and seized packages containing marijuana and cocaine. According to the investigation, he had obtained the narcotics from the first suspect and then divided them into other packages for sale.

At the time of the raid, a minor from Bitola was also present in the home. P.P. is suspected of having enabled the minor to consume marijuana.

The two men were immediately taken into custody. Meanwhile, the minor was questioned in the presence of his parents and representatives of the Center for Social Work, after which the relevant submission is expected to be filed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced./Telegrafi/
