OBRM-PDUKM: Filipçe does not react and does not condemn the diplomatic scandal by Bulgaria

OBRM-PDUKM says that Filipçe has chosen to remain silent and has not condemned what they describe as Bulgaria’s diplomatic scandal through the diplomatic note that, according to them, jeopardized Mickoski’s security.

According to them, a document containing diplomatic materials and sensitive information related to security issues affecting the state leadership has been made public, while there has been no reaction from Filipçe and the opposition. OBRM-PDUKM stresses that Filipçe, instead of issuing a clear condemnation and demanding accountability, has chosen not to speak out.

The party also says that the Bulgarian authorities led by Rumen Radev, which according to them deny the Macedonian identity, language, history and culture, have created a diplomatic precedent by publishing a diplomatic note that, they claim, directly jeopardizes the security of Mickoski’s family.

OBRM-PDUKM also says that the document, for which there has still been no apology from official Sofia and which was published on the social network Facebook, clearly reveals details about the official vehicles, the names of the passengers, the location of Mickoski’s family and the radio frequency through which the security guards were communicating.

Furthermore, OBRM-PDUKM states that the silence of Filipçe and the SDSM, instead of a condemnation, raises serious questions about their political consistency and priorities. They ask whether Filipçe is remaining silent because of his closeness to his Bulgarian associates.

According to them, although such actions are part of broader political pressure on Macedonia, the country will continue on its path toward European integration despite the pressures and challenges coming from outside.
