The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, said that infrastructure projects worth more than seven million euros are being implemented in the Municipality of Strumica. He made the announcement during a meeting with Mayor Petar Jankov, the municipal administration and MPs Eli Panova and Zhan Dervoshanov.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Transport, the discussions focused on plans for the municipality’s development, as well as current and future projects being carried out with the government’s support.
One of the investments currently under way is the construction of a stormwater drainage system in the Prosenikovo neighborhood, for which 46.6 million denars have been allocated.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the construction of the Radovish–Strumica–Novo Selo expressway. The road is expected to provide a faster connection to the border crossing toward Bulgaria.
Nikoloski emphasized that government investments in road and municipal infrastructure aim to improve living conditions and support local economic development.
The Ministry of Transport stressed that these projects are part of a broader commitment to modernizing the infrastructure network and ensuring balanced regional development.
