Nikolloski: By the end of 2027, the new single-window system will enable electronic services from 15 institutions for the import, export, and transit of goods

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski said today, at a meeting led by the Committee for the Management of the National Single Window System, that this project represents one of the most important initiatives for the digitalization and modernization of procedures related to the import, export, and transit of goods.

He stressed that the goal is to create a single electronic platform through which companies will be able to complete legal procedures related to foreign trade more quickly and efficiently.

At this session, the Committee confirmed that the tender procedure has been successfully completed and also provided information on the signing of the Agreement with the most favorable bidder for the supply and installation of the new NES single-window system.

The Agreement stipulates that the selected Consortium must make the system functional and put it into use by the end of 2027.

This software will make it possible in the future for all permits for import, export, and transit, together with payments, to be processed electronically at a single point.

According to Nikolloski, the Republic of Macedonia is part of the project to facilitate transport and trade in the countries of the Western Balkans, where one of the main components is the implementation of this National Single Window System, which means the complete replacement of the current system for managing permits for the import, export, and transit of goods with a new system.

The reform aims to simplify trade by improving application and issuance processes, as well as through the exchange of data among all institutions at the national level, strengthening cooperation and better coordination of activities within this system.
