Nikolloski and Tiganj discuss economic cooperation and Macedonia’s European progress

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikolloski held a meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Nives Tiganj.

The discussion covered issues related to economic relations, regional development and Macedonia’s European integration process.

Nikolloski and Tiganj underlined that there are further opportunities to strengthen economic and trade exchanges, as well as to establish new ties between companies from the two countries, which have traditionally enjoyed good relations.

Speaking about infrastructure, the minister stressed that the government remains committed to implementing infrastructure projects. In this regard, particular attention will be paid to capital investments, which contribute to regional development, improved connectivity and the creation of conditions for economic growth.

Ambassador Tiganj confirmed that Croatia continues to be an important partner and supporter of Macedonia’s European path, as well as of the reforms being implemented in the country.

The meeting concluded with both sides expressing their readiness to advance cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, building on the spirit of friendship and the traditional partnership between the two countries./Telegrafi/
