New details from the tragedy at the Sauk roundabout: Victims were foreign nationals, 28-year-old out of danger

Tirana police have provided additional information on the fatal accident that shocked the area near the TEG roundabout. Preliminary investigations show that the two people in the heavy vehicle, a concrete pump truck, were foreign nationals.

The truck driver, identified as M. L., around 30 years old, died instantly at the scene. The passenger in the same vehicle, M. A., around 44 years old, was rushed to hospital, but the injuries proved fatal and he died during medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, Albanian national R. N., around 28 years old, is receiving treatment in hospital. According to official sources, his condition is stable and his life is no longer threatened.

A special investigative team is continuing to examine the scene and gather evidence to clarify the circumstances and dynamics of this serious incident.
