New Court Filings Add Rape, Violence and Sex Trafficking Allegations to Case Against Tate Brothers

The release of new documents by a U.S. federal court has revealed further allegations of rape, sex trafficking and physical violence against Andrew and Tristan Tate. The two brothers are being held in custody in Florida and are challenging the United Kingdom’s request for their extradition.

The court filings state that, according to British prosecutors, victims were choked until they lost consciousness, physically assaulted and raped. Following the new allegations, the total number of charges against the two brothers has risen to 59.

In Andrew Tate’s case, the documents contain allegations relating to two separate incidents. One woman says that in 2015, at her home in Bedford, he choked her until she lost consciousness and then raped her.

Another woman alleges that during an encounter in Manchester in 2014, Andrew Tate grabbed her and squeezed her throat during sex. She said the act left her struggling to breathe and fearing for her life.

Andrew Tate now faces a total of 42 charges. They include rape, human trafficking and assault, as well as charges related to indecent images of a minor and extreme pornography.

As for Tristan Tate, the documents allege that he repeatedly raped a woman with whom he was in a romantic relationship in 2012-2013. He is also accused of choking her until she lost consciousness, beating her with a belt and causing her serious injuries.

Tristan Tate is charged with a total of 17 offenses, including rape, sexual assault and trafficking.

Prosecuting authorities in the United Kingdom say they have witness testimony, electronic communications and photographs that they believe substantiate the allegations.

Andrew and Tristan Tate have consistently denied all the charges. Their legal representatives have said they will oppose their extradition to the United Kingdom, claiming the proceedings are politically motivated.

The two brothers were arrested in Miami on July 18 at the request of British authorities. In the coming weeks, a U.S. federal court is expected to determine whether the legal criteria for extradition have been met. At the same time, Andrew and Tristan Tate remain the subjects of criminal proceedings in Romania.
