Nano Ruzhin: The publication of the diplomatic note about Mickoski’s family is an unusual case that harms good-neighborly relations

Former ambassador and diplomat Nano Ruzhin says it is impossible to state with certainty who published the diplomatic note and where it surfaced, because, according to him, the original document was most likely delivered to the ministry, after which all trace of it is lost, especially since Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies that the material came from it.

According to Ruzhin, it could be a simple incident or a misunderstanding in communication. He stresses that this event should serve as another signal that greater care is needed regarding such unpleasant episodes, because a diplomatic note is a classified and strictly confidential document.

He emphasizes that the situation would be completely different if a random tourist had seen the people in question somewhere on the beach, in the mountains, or in a hotel and photographed them, but such a note, as a document, should remain secret. Commenting on the details revealed from the Prime Minister’s family trip to the Bulgarian ski center of “Pamporovo,” Ruzhin says this is an unusual incident that does not serve good-neighborly relations between the two countries./Telegrafi/
