Names of four arrested in Ferizaj revealed, conflict started over a multi-million euro property

An operation by law enforcement in Kosovo, launched following a report of threats, has led to the handcuffing of four individuals in Ferizaj and the confiscation of a large arsenal of weapons and ammunition.

In the framework of this action, four citizens were arrested. Among them is the entrepreneur from Peja, Egzon Buquku.

Also on the list of detainees are Hamdin and Shpëtim Thaçi, father and son, as well as Elvin Hyseni, originally from Ferizaj.

The four were handcuffed inside the premises of the “Como” restaurant, located in the village of Babush in the municipality of Ferizaj.

According to information obtained by Indeksonline, the threat was triggered by a land property worth several million euros, located in Ferizaj.

During the raid, police officers found and seized four pistols and a significant number of bullets: A Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and 34 rounds; a SIG Sauer firearm with 30 rounds of ammunition; a CZ model holding 15 rounds; and an FN Five-seveN with 19 rounds in the magazine.
