Nagavci praises agreement with LDK: One step away from resolving the institutional deadlock

Arbërie Nagavci, a member of the leadership of the Vetëvendosje Movement, described the agreement reached with the Democratic League of Kosovo to support Bekim Sejdiu for the post of President of Kosovo as an important moment for politics and the institutions.

In a Facebook post, Nagavci acknowledged that the talks had been challenging but stressed that their outcome represented positive news for the country.

She underlined that, for the first time, the parties had agreed on a common candidate, showing that compromise and institutional seriousness are achievable when the common good takes precedence over party calculations.

Nagavci pointed out that, at this moment, the absolute priority is the swift establishment of functioning and credible institutions, expressing hope that the election of the country’s new head of state will be successfully concluded.

She described Bekim Sejdiu as a figure of integrity who could serve as a bridge of unity beyond political divisions.

In conclusion, Nagavci expressed her belief that this understanding between the two political forces would help overcome the institutional deadlock and that the entire process would be completed quickly, in the interest of Kosovo and its people.
