Mustafa Nano: Rama cannot stand people of integrity and has an infallible knack for choosing worthless, despicable people for government posts

Analyst Mustafa Nano says Edi Rama cannot stand people with integrity and self-respect, and that he chooses unsuitable people for important government posts.

According to Nano, Rama cannot work with people who have personality and integrity.

He explained this by arguing that the prime minister has a particular knack for selecting people for senior positions, emphasizing that “Rama is infallible at identifying who is worthless and appointing them to government posts.”

“I don’t know Shkëlqim Cani; I don’t think I’ve even shaken his hand. But from a distance, he has given me the impression that he has a certain integrity and respect for himself, for what he knows, and for the way he is made. That is why he left, or Rama removed him. Rama cannot work with people like that, who respect themselves; he cannot stand them. Instead, he brought in Arben Ahmetaj, making him not only a minister but also deputy prime minister. These are Rama’s tastes: he has an infallible knack for finding the most unsuitable person.

“Sometimes I think that if Rama had to choose a senior official, and some supernatural force put 100 people in front of him and told him that 99 were geniuses and the 100th was worthless, and to pick one and make them a minister, Rama would certainly point to the worthless one, even if he didn’t know them. If that person were despicable, he would choose them. He has an infallible knack for identifying who is worthless, appointing them, and putting them in a government post. It is a trait shared by all Albanian leaders, but Rama has taken it to a stratospheric level,” Mustafa Nano said on his program, Arnautistan.
