Murati: The obstacle was not linked to the constitution of parliament, but to the president’s issue

VV MP Hekuran Murati said that the difficulty did not lie with the constitutive session, but with the president’s issue.

According to him, in order to resolve this issue, VV reached an agreement with the LDK.

Murati said that the agreement with the Democratic League of Kosovo is not fully supported by its parliamentary group. He stressed that some MPs have said they do not necessarily support the agreement.

He said that, given the willingness to resolve the situation, it was considered necessary for the agreement to be reached before the constitution of parliament.

Speaking about the formation of the institutions, Murati announced that a meeting of the Assembly Presidency had been held the previous evening, where it was decided that the process should continue.

According to him, this decision was made with the interest of constituting the Assembly, forming the institutions and ensuring that the country has functioning institutions in mind.
