MTD: In September, 27.345 applications for electronic services were submitted on uslugi.gov.mk

The national portal for electronic services, uslugi.gov.mk, recorded its highest level of usage since its establishment in September, excluding the ICT voucher service, through which more than 50 thousand students were served. During the month, citizens and companies submitted 27.345 electronic applications. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the total number of applications submitted through the portal reached 405.881, surpassing the 400.000 mark.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation attributes this increase to the expansion of services offered online, the simplification of procedures, and increasingly close cooperation with institutions that are putting their services fully online.

One notable cooperation is with the State Statistical Office. In the recent period, several services have been digitized and published together with this institution, including those intended for students and the academic community.

Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski said that these figures show that citizens are increasingly understanding the importance of electronic services.

“The result of 27.345 applications in just one month is the highest since the portal was established. Equally important is surpassing the overall figure of 400.000 applications. This shows that citizens use services when they are simple, accessible and fully electronic. Our aim is for as many procedures as possible to be completed from home or via mobile phone, without service counters, unnecessary waiting and the transfer of documents from one institution to another,” said Andonovski.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to coordinate with institutions to digitize additional services, connect them through the Interoperability Platform and make the National Portal easier to use.

Priority is being given to services most frequently used by citizens and companies, as well as those where digitization can save the most time and reduce administrative costs.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the result recorded in September is further evidence that electronic services are gradually becoming the standard means of communication between citizens and institutions.
