Vehicles weighing more than 20 tonnes will once again be subject to temporary motorway traffic restrictions on Monday, August 3, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced.

According to the ministry, the measure was introduced based on the official temperature forecast.
The motorway restriction will be in effect from 11:00 to 17:30 because the forecast temperature meets the threshold of 32°C or higher.
Meanwhile, vehicles will be allowed to travel without restrictions on national, regional and connecting roads.
The measure does not apply to vehicles belonging to law enforcement and public security authorities, emergency services and healthcare institutions.
The ministry called on operators and drivers to comply with the restriction by organizing their travel according to the designated schedule.
