Morina inspects the slopes of the “Ibrahim Rugova” motorway: Deficiencies must be corrected

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Zef Morina inspected on site the works underway to stabilize and repair the slopes along the “Ibrahim Rugova” motorway.

During the visit, the progress of the interventions was assessed, which, according to Morina, are being carried out according to the schedule. However, the inspection highlighted several implementation deficiencies that are not in accordance with the technical design and construction standards.

Morina called on all stakeholders involved in the project to increase their commitment and strengthen professional oversight. He also requested that the identified problems be addressed and that the works fully meet the technical requirements, the project specifications and quality standards.

According to him, the pace of the works must be accompanied by quality, safety and precise implementation of the project. The aim is for the interventions on the slopes to ensure long-term stability and safety for all motorway users.
