The Agency for Agricultural Development (AZhB), operating under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MBPZhR), has completed the execution of direct payments to 5,455 farmers. The total amount of these subsidies exceeds €6.2 million.
According to a notice published on October 23, 2026, 690 farmers in the livestock sector benefited from the payments, receiving a total of €521,215.

A total of 4,765 farmers were included in the support for agricultural land, while the overall value of payments for this category reached €5,705,211.89.

The AZhB announced that the payment process will continue for the other benefits planned under the subsidy program.
Official data show that a total of 33,460 farmers applied for this financial support. The MBPZhR and AZhB have reiterated their commitment to completing the payments and supporting farmers, with the aim of further advancing agriculture in Kosovo.
