“Missing your son’s third birthday”, ex-partner Ajsel Abazi levels accusations at Eros Grezda

Albanian model Ajsel Abazi has shared a long and emotional reaction on social media, where she spoke about her relationship with her ex-partner, footballer Eros Grezda, with whom she has a son.

The couple became parents for the first time in 2023.

In posts published on InstaStory, Abazi emphasizes that she has not been in the habit of sharing personal matters publicly, but this time she decided to speak out, as it concerns the well-being of their son.

“There are moments when silence is no longer strength, especially when it comes to a child who doesn’t have a voice to express what he feels,” she writes.

The model clarifies that her reaction is not revenge or an attempt to denigrate her ex-partner, but a reflection on the responsibility of parenting.

She expresses that she is not bothered by the fact that Grezda has moved on with his life and has a new partner, emphasizing that everyone has the right to seek happiness. According to her, the problem arises when building a new life becomes a reason for the child to no longer remain a priority.

“I’m not bothered by the fact that Kian’s father has chosen to continue his life or that he has a new partner. What hurts me is when building a new life becomes a reason for the child to no longer be a priority,” Abazi writes.

Furthermore, she reveals that they tried to maintain a co-parenting relationship, but according to her this did not work, because the boundaries between the role of parent and their relationship as ex-partners were not respected.

For this reason, she decided to limit communication, emphasizing that the door has always been open for the father to spend time with their son.

Abazi also states that there is a huge difference between being a biological parent and a present parent.

“A child does not measure love by gifts or promises, but by time, presence, and dedication,” she said among other things.

In one of the strongest parts of the reaction, the model claims that Grezda missed their son’s third birthday, even though, according to her, a few days earlier he had been in Tirana with his partner.

She adds that he only meets his son once a month, even though no obstacles have been placed in his way.

“A child waits with the heart, not with the calendar,” she writes.

Abazi also says that she was hurt by the fact that, according to her, their three-year-old son was introduced to Grezda’s new partner at a time when he is still trying to understand his father’s absence.
